Hello Everyone,

Happy New Year! You should be receiving your latest copy of the Zephyr shortly
(if you haven’t already) and it is time to begin thinking about the next issue.
My goal was to have everything for the next issue sent to me by Jan. 15 but
that’s not going to work so my goal is to have the next issue out to everyone
by mid-April which means that I have to have all submissions sent to me by
Friday, March 9!!! This will then allow the design team at Barnett House to do
their magic. Then we will aim to have the last edition for this school year out
by end of June, beginning of July!

What do I need from you? Submissions of course! Maybe you have used a great
activity or you have attended a great PD
or you have taken your students on a great field trip and you want to share it
with all of us. You can also check out the list below for other submission
ideas! You can find this same list on page 16 of our latest Zephyr Issue also!

NEXT ISSUE

Theme:Authentic Approaches to Culture

• What are some authentic approaches you use to immerse students in the culture
of the target language?
• How do you use technology to help immerse students in the target language
culture
-Answer any of the questions posted on the IISLE twitter and Instagram accounts!

Also, in this current edition of Zephyr there will be an insert of a form we
need to have completed when your submitting pictures to accompany your
submission as FOIP does not apply to our publication unfortunately. Thank you
for completing and submitting this form to me when you send me your
submissions! If you happen to misplace this form, don’t fret, I have been given
a digital version that I can share with you!!!

Again, articles and other submissions are due March 9, 2018. Please send your
