[sleafordbka] Bee Cluster

Hi

Has anyone any ideas why a large amount of bees should "cluster" just below
the hive entrance as in the photo.  Some of them are carrying pollen.  When
I first noticed it I added supers to give them more room.

Could it be a swarming preliminary?
