[slackintosh-users] 16bit 3D acceleration crashing on G3 iBook

I have an 8MB Rage Pro (AGP) in my 600MHz G3 iBook.

After about 20 seconds of perfect acceleration, the app stops with this:

Error: r128 timed out...

Does anyone have a working xorg.conf for Slackintosh 12.1 for 8MB r128
or ati driver?

I have a feeling I may need to recompile kernel and drivers - but I hope not.
