Hi Tom,
Windows 10 shouldn't make much difference. Since its native browser isn't
accessible, I have to presume that this person is using IE or Firefox.
But there are a few things we don't know.
He doesn't state what browser he's using or exactly what site he's going to.
In his case, though, he has a Sirius subscription, whereas I have an Xm
subscription.
This may be key, because when it did work flawlessly for me last Monday, I
was seeing the Sirius lineup.
When I got to the XM lineup later in the day, hitting enter on the channel
links didn't work.
So maybe it works better from the Sirius side.
Now back to Xm, which is what I'm subscribed to.
The all Channels option that I mentioned the other day now looks hopelessly
broken.
One thing that may be kind-of workable is using siriusxm.com/player in
Firefox.
If you can log in, it may not be playing a channel. But you may find options
to tune previous or next channels.
If you choose one of those, you'll likely get some audio.
And yes, you can keep going through previous and next till you get the
channel you want, but don't be in a hurry
Lots of channels are available, and sometimes the browser may not land on
the same link it was on.
But if you have a channel that you frequent, once you've arrived at your
channel, it may be an easy way to get to it via the new player, while using
the older player and older Jaws for other channels.
I can't get searches to work there, but it's strictly a slow,
channel-by-channel process.
However, once it's done, I can again access that channel by going to the
player, hitting previous and next, or vice versa, and I'm quickly on that
channel.
For example, during baseball season, I often listen to Arizona Diamondbacks
games. This is a way I can quickly get to channel 840 without switching to
Jaws 15.
It's still frustrating because I know of no way to do a search, and I often
change channels.
But in the case of a channel I want to get back to, it's an option.
Not a great one, but something.
