Yes Iván, a new updated and remastered version of this album with all the
missing songs from the same sessions plus maybe some outtakes or other bonus
items would be great. I originally bought the album back in 1973 with the
souvenir photo included in the super opening album sleeve.
Sure, an anniversary version makes sense because it is a stunningly good album
and the quality and tone of Frank Sinatra’s actual vocals on this album was in
my opinion unfortunately never quite equalised on his recordings throughout the
remainder of his ‘post retirement’ period until the very end. Sure, there were
some magnificent subsequent recording performances but somehow, save for
perhaps one or two exceptions, the voice itself seemed to have aged another
significant step after this album. Just listen to 1974’s ‘Some Nice Things I
Missed’ or even ‘The Main Event’ and there was already, in just a year, a
noticeable change from the smoothness of tone and voice in ‘’Ol’ Blue Eyes is
Back’’ which was change was almost as noticeable as the considerable vocal
change which occurred between the pre-retirement recording of ‘The Game Is
Over’ and say, ‘Send In The Clowns’.

A bit early, but soon comes 2023 and I think it’s the perfect time to do a 50th
anniversary edition of the album, maybe with outtakes !
