As someone generally underwhelmed by vocal duet projects (and there has
been a surfeit of them in Bennett’s more recent output) this one sounds
especially appealing to me. It’s remarkable to think that a singer of
Tony’s vintage can still possess such wit, swagger and sheer presence in
the studio. He is an absolute treasure.
