Note: Frank walked away with almost $30,000
for a week's work. He was in negotiations with
promoters in Detroit and Chicago for a week
in each city, beginning in early May. But the talks
were canceled after his doctor ordered r&r back
home in Palm Springs. But he did fulfilled the
following obligations:Talks would resume later in
April and Frank did play both cities for a week,
starting in mid-May. He was guaranteed $25,000
or 50% of the gross, beginning with the first dollar.

Grammy Museum worker Hilda Chavez cleans one of the photographs in the Frank
Sinatra exhibit. In 1946 Sinatra had a week-long gig at the Golden Gate
Theater in San Francisco. Sinatra recorded 57 songs that year
