Ed, could it be an alternate of the 81 version? How many full takes are there?
PJM I doubt they are offering anything other than what was remastered
for the "Suitcase."Ed

“Everything Happens to Me” is the 1981 version right?
I would assume it would have to be. The 74 came out on Vol. 1.But how can they
call the 81 a rarity ? The alternate from 74 would be a better choice.Ed

I just googled it, I think there is only one more but I could be wrong. The
only thing I could think of is music surrounding Trilogy & LA Is My Lady left.
John G I was told some months back there would five volumes. If
you don't have the "Suitcase," they areworth getting.Ed

So there’s nothing new on this volume that isn’t already released in the
Reprise Suitcase set?
John G. The only possibility, I can see, is "Everything Happens
To Me." If it is the 9-24-74recording, there is an alternate that Reprise did
master. But I have been told that most of thetracks for this rarities series
has been lifted from the masters done for the 1995 "Suitcase"20 CD set. "Bang,
Bang" from 73 has two alternates but there is really no difference evenfor the
most discriminating listener.Ed
