div.yiv4035362736WordSection1 {}-->I came across this article from the Kansas
City Times, Kansas City, Missouri, February 4, 1947: I can find no
reference that Dorsey with Sinatra ever played Hotel Muehlebach in Kansas City.
Here are the only two dates that are documented for Kansas City when Sinatra
was with Dorsey: October 10, 1940 Pla-Mor Ballroom, Kansas City , Missouri
March 19, 1942 Pla-Mor Ballroom, Kansas City, Missouri I wonder if the
newspaper was thinking of Dorsey on one of these dates at the Pla-Mor or if
there’s an undocumented date at the Hotel Muehlebach yet to be discovered.
