Dear friends,
I'm sorry about the spam, but many of you complain about me never playing in
Umbria, so I thought you might be interested to know that I will be doing so
several times this month with three of my most cherished projects. If you feel
like joining me at one or more shows, I would be delighted.
For those of you unfamiliar, Hobby Horse is a trio with Joe Rehmer on bass and
Stefano Tamborrino on drums, my longest-running collaboration. Ghost Horse is a
sextet expansion of the trio, adding Filippo Vignato on trombone, Glauco
Benedetti on tuba and Gabrio Baldacci on baritone guitar. And 'Unfall' is a
wind quartet featuring Mirco Rubegni on trumpet, Manuele Morbidini on alto sax
and Rossano Emili on baritone sax and bass clarinet. Each project has a unique
and specific repertoire so consider coming to more than one show - they will be
very different.

17 July - with Dan Kinzelman 'Unfall' at Umbria Jazz * this is my wind quartet,
formerly known as Dan Kinzelman's Ghost. We very rarely perform, but it's quite
special and I hope you will join us if you can. Show is at 12.00 noon.
