Hello again,
I found a solution to my problem which I would like to share with you. It was
not obvious to me that you had to install sound essentials in order to use
Sibelius playback configurations. In fact you really do have to install it. If
you don't, Sibelius doesn't create any configuration file at all, not even a
default one, which means that you cannot create and save yours. So, even if you
don't want to use it, you have to install sans essentials. Maybe it's worth
adding this to sibelius access manual no?

Hi all,
there is something strange happening in the playback device dialogue. It
doesn't look like a Sibelius access bug cause, even with the help of a
sighted person, the problem remains.
I can select the playback device I need and it will work for my current
session. But every time I close Sibelius and reopen it, the settings are
forgotten and I have to do it all over again. Furthermore, the new button
doesn't have any effect and there is no way I can save my configurations.
The only thing that seems to work is the save button. If I don't click it
Sibelius will ask me if I want to save my changes when closing the playback
device dialogue box. But even though I answer yes to this question, the
settings are still forgotten after closing Sibelius.
Can someone help ?
