[sib-access] Writing two independent voices

Hi to all

I'm writing a piece with piano stafes. How can I write two voices with
different rhythms in the same hand? I could do this once in an older
sibelius version, but now it doesn't work anymore.

I'm writing a whole note and then I press Alt+2. But unfortenatelly the
first voice doesn't remain.
Please give me some help, because I should write a song for some students to
play.
