For anyone who wants to export scores from Sibelius in the MusicXML format,
I recommend the free
Dolet for Sibelius
Plug-in. The MusicXML import feature of our Lime notation editor has been
optimized to read the particular flavor of MusicXML which Sibelius produces.
Anything we can get into Lime can be automatically converted to the
equivalent braille music by our GoodFeel Braille Music Translator.
The MusicXML import function of Lime 9.05, the version of Lime we ship with
GoodFeel, is not nearly as good as the MusicXML feature of Lime version 9.15
which we ship with our Lime Lighter software. We are working hard to
release a version of GoodFeel that can read Lime 9.15 files.
