It says there are links to other places on the web where musicXml
files can be downloaded. Take a peek and tell us what the candy store
is like. :)

I ask because I am a performer as well as a composer, and so am trying to
use Sib Access to learn music, not just compose music for others.

XML is a general format of electronic music files, designed to be
compatible
among scoring platforms. Think of it as text files being mutually
compatible among word processors. While some of the formatting might not
carry over into a different scoring program, the essential elements of the
music will be there. Just like with formatting likely being altered when
going from one word processor to another. When a person has received an XML
file, the user will likely convert the score into whichever program they
use, such as Sibelius, Finale, etc. does that make sense?

aficionados can read a music score, just like sighted musicians. The
notes can be displayed on a Braille display as music Braille and plain
text. They can be read out as text and played back. The program can be
