Also, one of the drawbacks of SIB or Lime is that you have to learn to memory the song you wish to play. Nither will be viable in a play on demand situation such as studio work or in a live situation. You have to take the time and learn each piece and put it all together. BIAB will let you learn the songs while listening and reading out the chords. Depending on the situation, you could use BIAB as your backing track in a live situation. To be honest, I use both BIAB and SIB now for my learning. If you can play by ear, I would recommend purchasing Band in a Box, and download the free scripts for JAWS on the MIDI-Mag FTP site. Let me know and I'll send along more information. You can download a demo version of BIAB from PG Music. Hi, I want to restart playing the piano and guitar now I have discovered electronic tools like Lime Aloud and Sibelius with the access scripts for Jaws. I can't read music Braille, or in fact any type of Braille. Can anyone give their thoughts on good ways to learn new repeatoire? Is Lime Aloud good enough (and its cheaper), or is Sibelius with the access scripts a better choice (though more expensive), or are there other tools out there? Should I invest in learning music Braille?
