[sib-access] A question about extraneous bars

Hello. Is there a way to get rid of about 26 o so bars that showed up at the
end of melody I pasted in to a new file? The melody was 4 bars long and I
had to harmonize over that. It worked like a charm but after the end the
bars 5 to what ever were still there. I tried to select all of them and hit
delete and they didn't appear to go away.
