dear sir, When designing a distributed circuit, it is important to consider the e= ffect of transmission line. We often use the match resistors to solve the s= ignal integrity problem. But if i use the way that shunt the match resistor= s with the receiver, i meet a very serious question. How long should be the= wire between the pad of the match resistor and the receive pin of chips. I= have to put them very closely(sometimes it will affect the location of oth= er parts in a circuit), or if the length of the connected wire could be con= sider as the lump circuit(maybe the wire is a little long),the function of = shunt match resistors will not be destroyed. And can you give me any reasion= about the question. --=20 ___________________________________________________________ Sign-up for Ads Free at Mail.com http://promo.mail.com/adsfreejump.htm ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List FAQ wiki page is located at: http://si-list.org/wiki/wiki.pl?Si-List_FAQ List technical documents are available at: http://www.si-list.org List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
