Hello I am designing an antenna on Si substrate (resistivity = 300 ohm -cm) at 24 Ghz.I want to calculate the loss tangent for this substrate .I calculate it as follows conductivity = 1/ resistivity Tan d = conductivity /( epsilon * 2* pi* f) I get a value of 0.25 .My question is that if this calculation is right then why loss tangent decreases with the increase in frequency and if this calculation is not right then whats the right way to calculate the loss tangent from resistivity alone.
