I do believe I have the method figured out! To include images in si-list messages that are not forbidden binary attachments you can drag and drop .jpg or .gif images into the body of the message (in Netscape, Mozilla, Outlook etc.). When the message is sent it gets base64 encoded into text and special lines are inserted into the header of the message to cause the recipient's mailtool to decode the inline encoded content on the fly and to display the images within the message. (at least it worked locally, let's see if it works the same thru the list server.) -Ray Here are a couple of sample .jpg images: ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List FAQ wiki page is located at: http://si-list.org/wiki/wiki.pl?Si-List_FAQ List technical documents are available at: http://www.si-list.org List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
