Well, it's that time for another installment in our summer Covid-19 webinar
series. Rich Mellitz will be giving a great presentation on Thursday
Noise and Simulation Correlation
Presented by: Richard Mellitz
Thursday, Sept 10
11:15 a.m. PT | 2:15 p.m. ET
Opinions on correlation range from intuitive to scientific. The presentation
opens with an introduction of statistical terms. A simple example is used to
illustrate a key question, "What is the purpose of the correlation?"
An example of 100 Gbs / PAM-4 signaling correlation segues into BER
correlation. Methods using noise parameters in COM are then used to correlate
measured BER and simulated BER.
