During the development of the Ethernet Std-802.3 for 25 Gbps NRZ signaling, a
paradigm shift happened for interconnect characterization. Frequency domain
masks were replaced with an open source simulation method that ties
transmitter, receiver and channel together. In this webinar presentation, we
explore why these new methods where introduced and take a deeper dive into the
physical representation of the reference packages.
