Hi Balamanikandan, Check out in the Stimulus configure (button on the GUI) You have option to skip the no of initial bits * Dry run and estimate the no of cycles for the waveform to settle -- skip those many cycles in the eye or * Replace the capacitor by the equivalent capacitive resistance Xc=1/2(Pi)(f)(C) and simulate -- this is mentioned in the Mentorgraphics user web-page Regards Ck., ________________________________________ From: si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Balamanikandan K [kbmanick@xxxxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, February 13, 2012 12:09 PM To: si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [SI-LIST] excluding the initial delay- eye diagram hi I am using hyper-lynx. I am trying to get the eye diagram for a particular circuit. The circuit has a capacitor and it causes huge delay to settle the signal (stable form). The eye diagram obtained through the simulation includes the effect of initial delay also. Is there any possibility to see the eye diagram excluding the initial delay caused by capacitors? -- Best Regards, Balamanikandan.K ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List technical documents are available at: http://www.si-list.net List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu ::DISCLAIMER:: ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The contents of this e-mail and any attachment(s) are confidential and intended for the named recipient(s) only.
