For regular PCI (I don't have a CompactPCI spec handy), the maximum
frequency is 33.333...MHz. The minimum clock cycle time is exactly
30.0ns.
You could run it at 33.0MHz, or 25MHz or 21.69073MHz or 1KHz or
whatever, as long as the period is no shorter than 30ns.
