I suggest you refer to Hall, Hall & McCall "High-Speed Digital System

Subject: [SI-LIST] VIA L and C values.

Hello Experts,

I am simulating a 50 Mhz point to multipoint bus. I am using the
following stackup for the board. Board is with 6 planes and 8 signal
layers.

And I am using vias of dimension
12/25/35 and 10/20/32 (drill/pad/antipad) respectively. Can any one tell
the L and C values for these vias.

The inner signal layers donot have any pads except where they
connect to that signal layer.

Could somebody please tell me what would be the via
capacitance and inductance. Or could somebody tell
me what is the capacitance for similar vias or
buildups close to the above. I donot have access to
field solvers nor am in a position to measure them
Infact I am not quite certain how to measure them.

Thanks for any help.
