The IBIS Open Forum is pleased to announce the availability of ICMCHK1, version 1.1.2. This update addresses BUG reports 1, 2 and 3. Thanks to Kelly Green for his assistance in updating the code. ICMCHK1 is the official parser for files created using the IBIS Interconnect Modeling (ICM) specification. ICM provides a universal, non-proprietary way to represent the electrical behavior of interconnects, applicable to packages, cables, connectors and similar structures. Data for models under ICM may be included in frequency-dependent (tabular) RLGC matrices or through links to external S-parameter files. ICM is standardized as GEIA-STD-0001 and support for ICM in commercial SI tools is growing steadily. Executables for the new version of the parser are available free of charge at the following URL: http://www.eda-stds.org/ibis/icmchk1/. =20 Note that the source code is available for purchase under license agreement. Please contact the IBIS Open Forum if you are interested in obtaining a source code license. - Michael Mirmak Intel Corp.
