Here's some information from an existing Solution on support.cadence.com on
this:-

By default, PCB SI assumes that the planes are ideal - no voids are taken into
consideration when running simulations and calculating delay values. You can
change this behaviour by doing 2 things:

1. Go into the stackup form and uncheck the "Shield" button.
2. Set the "use_accurate_delay_calculation" variable in your local env file.

Here is a link to a SourceLink Solution on this topic -

Subject: RE: Split Plane effect across on transmission line

Hi Muhamed,

Does Cadence -Allegro extract the transmission line considering split plane .

If I might wrong, I am not sure it does ,As the Cadence-Allegro supports
suggests while extraction of transmission line across split plane will consider
Split plane as continuous reference plane and then extract..

But among ADS HFSS, CST , EMpro tool which tool will be easy to model?

Regards,
Sarada
