The breed of dog you choose will have a large effect on skin effect
losses. Those breeds with thicker/rougher coats are somewhat similar to
rough copper on a PC board, the rougher the dog's coat, the higher the
skin effect losses (effort) needed when petting their coat. Something
to consider when deciding on your puppy. ;-)
