 Sr Staff SI Engineer: 
 SanDisk designs, develops, manufactures, and markets flash storage card 
products used in various consumer electronics products. SanDisk is world's 
largest supplier of innovative flash memory data storage products. 
 
 Responsibilities: 
In this position, the individual will be responsible for product level 
simulation; coordinating SI function across SanDisk organization and developing 
SI process. 
 
 General Description: Experienced Signal Integrity engineer with strong 
background in HSPICE system level simulation including PCB and substrate 
extracting; full cycle of simulation and coloration; develop methodology and 
process for SI; hard worker and team player. 
 
 Requirements: 
 - Must understand the transmission line theory 
 - Proficient in using HSPICE for system level simulation including transistor 
circuit and PCB/substrate models 
 - Proficient in using VNA or TDR machine for PCB characterization and 
modeling. 
 - Proficient in using Sigrity, Ansoft, CST Microwave, or other EM tools for 
PCB electrical model extraction. 
 - Proficient in time domain as well as frequency domain signal analysis. 
 - Proficient in power integrity analysis and de-coupling strategy for PCB, 
package and silicon. 
 - Proficient in system timing analysis for synchronous bus, source synchronous 
bus, and serial links. 
 - Knowledge of DDR2, PCIe and SATA timing and electrical requirements is a 
plus. 
 - Knowledge of using HyperLynx, ADS and Allegro tools is a plus. 
 - Good problem solving skill is a must
