Hi Everyone, Another month, another article. This one it titled "Coupling Signals and Noise into Circuits Using Magnetic Loops - A Troubleshooting Technique." The technique is applicable to both signal integrity issues as well as EMC troubleshooting. ------------------------------------------------------- This month's Technical Tidbit discusses a method of injecting signals and noise precisely into circuits using magnetic loops for troubleshooting purposes. Abstract: A square wire loop excited by a signal generator can be used to inject pulses or RF signals precisely into a circuit without disturbing circuit conditions. Used in this way, such a loop can be a significant aid in design troubleshooting. Suggestions for such uses are given.
