Hi all,

I have question on SSTL2 Tx JEDEC 8-9B specs.
It is, weather SSTL2 class-II twice or thrice strength
of class-I ?

If we just look at their mini. current drives
(II=16.2mA, I=8.1mA) it seems to be twice.
If we look at their max. Ron (II=22, I=69) it is
almost thrice.(which i feel is correct to look at)
If it is twice, than I should able to get
Class-II drive by connecting two Class-I Tx in
parallel? which I found, I cannot.
If it is thrice, than why common perception is
"Class-II is double the strength of Class-I"?

thanks and regards
Rajat
