Hello,=20

In SMPTE RP-184, "Specification of Jitter in
Bit-Serial Digital Systems", I have a question
in regards to Figure-5 and Table-3, "Intrinsic
and Output Jitter", both of which are on pg-6.

I understand that the F3-F4 band is a subset of=20
the F1-F4 band, and that these are the pass bands
for alignment and timng jitter respectively.=20

Would it be a correct interpretation to infer a
**composite** jitter filter such that we increase=20
the attenuation from A1 to A2 as the frequency=20
approaches F3 from F1 (@ -20dB per decade)?

Thx,
Jim
