Job Description
Electrical/Hdwr Engineer V-576257
Description
Individual will be responsible for electrical design rule entry for current and
future StorageWorks storeage server platforms design projects.
He/She will also performs HSPCE and channel analysis on current and future
platform designs. Run EM tools to generate models for high speed channels. Run
PI tools to ensure platform power integrity. Conduct electrical DVT on new
platforms during bring up.
Qualifications
Education and Experience Required:
BSEE degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 6 plus year's related
experience or MSEE degree and a minimum of 4-6 years experience.
Critical Competencies to Drive Business Results:
Project Leadership & Troubleshooting
Ability to work with multiple cross-fucntional teams in different locations.
Abililty to generate work schedule and follow through and deliver targets on
time.
Technical Breadth/Depth
Experience in Concept/Allegro PCB design environment.
Experience in Allegro constrains manager entry.
Experience in HSPICE SI simulations and 3D EM tools such as ANSOFT HFSS or CST
MWS.
Knowledge of using lab testing instruments such as highspeed scopes, VNA and TDR
Experience in Matlab and Perl script
Customer-Centric Focus
Individual should be able to support multiple projects simultaneously with
minimal supervision.
Problem Solving
Individual should also be able to troubleshoot analogy/SI related problems in
lab during platform or ASIC bring up.
