An example of what we are looking for is below:=20 Signal Integrity Engineer=20 Work with component suppliers to obtain necessary information, documentation and models to enable successful simulation of assigned technologies. Develop models; ensure the accuracy of models used for simulation. Perform analysis of electrical designs and simulate viable routing solutions to define a solution space and develop design constraints for interconnect routing. Simulate with appropriate variables permutated to identify best and worst case combinations. Work with Electrical Engineers, ECAD and lead Simulation Engineers to ensure appropriate delivery and compliance with recommended ECAD constraints. Develop and deliver electrical design constraints. Participate in design reviews for platforms being developed internal and external to Dell. Assist in the development EA test plans, incorporating test point for validation and assist in resolving signal integrity issues impacting assigned technologies. Support simulation efforts and required analysis, as needed, on assigned desktop, portable and server designs. Manage multiple projects and working independently under aggressive timelines. Easily achieve mastery of new tools, languages and operating systems.=20 =20 Qualifications Minimum education desired to include BSEE or MSEE and experience commensurate with the respective role. Understanding of electrical simulation tools and different tools available for simulation. Understanding of transmission line theory and electromagnetic field theory. Basic ability to drive problem-solving strategies for complex problems that involve cross-functional disciplines. Working knowledge of (1) analog and digital circuit theory and principles; and/or (2) software design and engineering theory and principles. Basic ability to successfully negotiate and persuade. Read and understanding technical data sheets.
