Hi All,
Have you ever looked for an easy way to measure the shielding performance of a
signal cable like SATA or USB or any shielded cable? I have an article that
describes an easy way to do this. In the article, I use an ESD gun for the
source, but any signal generator will do if you want frequency domain
information.

By the way, SATA cable shielding is not great (mostly due to the connectors),
and SATA cables should only be used inside of a shielded enclosure, not a
plastic box.
