Stephane, It probably would have been less confusing to use the same parameter for both specification items, but as Bart suspected, this difference can be explained by the different frequency ranges involved. The 270Mb/s transmission rate comes with a bit rate frequency of 135MHz, and this octave lower upper frequency comes with a 2dB tighter requirement.
