I got a few off-line questions asking about the Reverse Pulse Technique
that Steve mentioned a couple of days ago on this thread.
The original source is: Drabkin, et al, “Aperiodic Resonant Excitation
of Microprocessor power Distribution Systems and the Reverse Pulse
Technique,” Proc. of EPEP 2002, p. 175.
Note that an extended version of this classic paper will appear in the
book: Power Distribution Network Design Methodologies, IEC, 2008,
