Hi, This is not a real SI topic, but I need your analog expertise about the way to generate echo in a voice traffic. We need to test an Echo Cancellation module on our board and I would like to know if I could generate echo without using heavy and expensive specific test equipment. Is there a simple "analog" method to perform such an echo on voice with maybe just a passive network (to simulate an impedance mismatch) or long cable simulator or other ... ? Has anyone of you already performed this kind of test? Thank you, Regards, Jean-Pierre -------------------------------------------------------------------- Jean-Pierre BOUTHEMY Hardware & Physical Design Engineer ALCATEL CIT - Mobile Communication Group (MCG) MCG/MSD/NGN/R&D/PDGW +33 (0)2 99 26 08 18 mailto:jean_pierre.bouthemy@xxxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from si-list: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject field or to administer your membership from a web page, go to: //www.freelists.org/webpage/si-list For help: si-list-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'help' in the Subject field List FAQ wiki page is located at: http://si-list.org/wiki/wiki.pl?Si-List_FAQ List technical documents are available at: http://www.si-list.org List archives are viewable at: //www.freelists.org/archives/si-list or at our remote archives: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/si-list/messages Old (prior to June 6, 2001) list archives are viewable at: http://www.qsl.net/wb6tpu
