you have opened a BIG discussion let me said that it doesn't exist a perfect method/simulator and general purpose that is good for every condition If you can share more info and details on application you are simulating will help SI members to give you more useful feedback There are area/application where the accuracy and result of different tools/method overlap, while other area where is better to use a specific method/tool P.S. Which MoM simulator are you using? is it a 2.5D like Agilent-Momentum or Ansoft-PlanarEM? or is it a 3D MoM like IE3D (Mentor) or Sentinel-PSI (Apache)? Usually for very high frequency/high speed it is widely used 3D simulator (FEM like HFSS or FDTD like CST) the usage of 3D Maxwell Equation give you the highest accuracy!
