San As a Senior Characterization Engineer, you will characterize complex FPGA with emphasis on high performance IO interface. You will develop characterization strategies, plans, and schedules by integrating different requirements from various engineering and business departments. The characterization executing involves generating test vectors, performing bench measurements using state-of-the-art characterization equipment, data analysis, presenting results, and generating reports. Qualifications include a BSEE or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years experience in high performance FPGA hardware design; knowledge in creating high speed IO interface test vectors such as multi-gigabit transceiver (CDR) and memory interface; expertise in system performance such as SSN, signal integrity, and system timing analysis. Good written and oral communication skills are required. Strong analytical skills are also required. Knowledge in CMOS logic, Verilog, high-speed PCB design and analog circuits such as PLL and different signaling is desirable.
