Xilinx has an immediate opening for a Signal Integrity/Package Design Engineer. I am looking for an experienced Signal Integrity engineer for development of high-performance FPGA products. This engineer will primarily be focussed on the electrical design of FPGA packages, including assuring high performance of IOs and Power Delivery Systems. This position will also include interactions with customers, to help optimize board-level applications of FPGAs. The position may include some management responsibilities as additional Signal Integrity engineers are added to the team Requirements - Track record of delivery of products, in the area of silicon, packaging and board electrical design - Current knowledge of board, package, and silicon technologies - Modelling expertise with circuit simulator and 2D/3D field solver tools - System-level experience in dealing with Signal Integrity issues - Excellence in the area of making accurate high-speed measurements - Experience correlating high-speed measurements to models - Ability to proactively work with a variety of people inside and outside Xilinx - BSEE with 10 years experience in Signal Integrity, circuit design, pc board development, and package development.
