I just have to say that after many years of following the SI-List that it's
always been a good
balance between useful technical discussion, useful marketing and promotional
stuff, job opportunities, and humor.
Very rarely have I felt that something was out of place.
So somehow we are doing a good job here, please keep it up!

FWIW, I would argue that marketing of all kinds tends to appear on this forum
in various ways. Sometimes it's just a regular contributor posting about their
upcoming speaking engagements.
I've never figured out where the line is on that, but would love some guidance.
For instance, Lee Ritchey, Rick Hartley, Eric Bogatin and Bill Hargin are all
speaking at PCB West this fall. Is it OK for them to mention that?
Respectfully,

There are different kinds of job postings:
1. internal recruiter herding masses to a taleo site black hole.
2. Third party recruiter wants to sign you up for some companys taleo site.
3. internal rec or engineering staff wanting to start a conversation
with interested members of a community.
The first 2 are not very useful on si list, in my opinion.

Hi Arpad,
You definitely did not offend me - remember we worked together and
co-authored a paper for DesignCon this year using the PIScanner tools
