The IBIS Open Forum is pleased to announce our third IBIS Summit meeting during
the 2022 IEEE International Symposium on EMC+SIPI on Friday, August 5, 2022.
This hybrid in-person/virtual IBIS Summit is designed to promote interactions
between model users, model makers, and EDA tool developers in the IBIS
community as well as the IEEE EMC Society members. Presentations related to
IBIS and IBIS-AMI basics and power integrity topics are highly encouraged, as
well as other usual topics. Those interested in presenting at or in attending
the virtual event may register using the information below.
We also encourage IBIS Summit participants to register for the 2022 IEEE
Symposium on EMC+SIPI with discounts available to IBIS participants using the
information below. The promo code is GR22IBIS.
The meeting is free and open to everyone. We look forward to seeing you online!

BACKGROUND
The IEEE Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Society has organized an annual
symposium each year since 1959. Over the years, attendance has grown to some
1,500 to 2,000 engineers, technicians, and exhibitors representing industry
(65%), academia (25%), and government (10%) organizations.
Recent technical programs have featured over 200 peer-reviewed papers, 25
tutorials and workshops, as well as dozens of hands-on experiments and
demonstrations. Popular technical sessions include the "Fundamentals of EMC"
full-day tutorial and the multi-day "Clayton R. Paul Global University" which
features in-depth presentations by noted industry experts. New additions to
the technical program include "Standards Week" created so engineers can quickly
learn about updates to and future changes planned for EMC-related standards
published by IEEE, IEC, CISPR, ISO, and ANSI C63, to name a few of the global
Standards organizations that address EMC. The technical program typically
features five parallel sessions held from Monday to Friday of the symposium
week. In addition to general EMC topics proposed by the EMC Society's
technical and special committees, current technical program topics address
emerging technology areas such as Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP), Signal
Integrity/Power Integrity (SIPI), Automotive, and Wireless. Numerous
standards-related technical committee and working group meetings are held
during the symposium week; these are "open" meetings that registrants can
freely attend should they have an interest in the technical content.
Topics of current interest to the IBIS Open Forum are addressed at the 2022
IEEE Symposium on EMC+SIPI.
This meeting will be conducted as a formal IBIS meeting. Presentations are
expected to be available in an electronic format, and minutes of the meeting
will be issued.
CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS
People involved in IBIS or related signal integrity and/or power integrity
model development or EDA tool development are invited to participate. If you
plan to participate, please register with the information below. The IBIS
Summit is an open meeting for all registered in-person symposium attendees
(IEEE members and nonmembers). However, symposium attendees should also
register in advance with Lance Wang in order to receive the meeting agenda and
other pertinent information in advance of the IBIS Summit. Note that
registration information will be shared with IEEE EMC Society unless you "opt
out" of sharing in your registration email.
