It depends on the pattern you choose, e.g. you are using prbs7, in this
case 2^7-1 is minimal. Of course the you might want the pattern ran for
more iterations.
And you also need some extra bits at the beginning to make sure the DC
is stable.

    I will simulate a Multi-Gigabit Serial Link(10Gbps) using HSPICE. I
want to generating eye diagram as the final result, But i don't know how
many bits to run ? Can someone give me some hints?
