[SI-LIST] Dispersion in Lossy Lines

Hello,

I have a hypothetical question on lossy lines.

Suppose you send a square pulse down a lossy line. At the far end, the
square pulse maintains its overall shape but is attenuated and has a
degraded rise time. Besides matching impedance at the source or adding
parallel termination, which eliminate the reflections, what are some
ways, if any, to counteract the loss due to dispersion?
