Yuriy,
Yes, those are the definitions of S13 and S14, so I think I stated
incorrectly what I'm calculating. I am calculating the coupling or
cross-talk coefficients, which are pretty much frequency independent
except for the far-end coefficient at low frequencies. Typically, S13
and S14 have resonances similar to those of S11. How do I get a proper
S13 and S14.
Thanks,
Dennis

Dennis,
If S21 is the transmission parameter, then S13 or S31 is called NEXT and S14
or S41 is called FEXT - so, your NEXT and FEXT are S13 and S14.

Subject: [SI-LIST] Creating 4-port S-Parameters from Impedances
Hello experts,
I know for a stripline pair the odd and even impedances and the physical
dimensions, such as conductor width,
thickness, roughness, and pitch, and dielectric thickness, relative
permittivity constant, and loss tangent.
I can calculate the single-ended impedance, propagation and group delays,
NEXT and FEXT couplings, S11, and S21.
What do I use to calculate S13 and S14? I haven't found anything that
clarifies this.
Regards,
Dennis
