Description:  Job Summary:

Assist Design Engineers in the use of Agilent EEsof products (e.g. ADS, 
Momentum, EMPro, etc.) to design, develop and manufacture current and next 
generation products. As part of a dynamic, fast moving sales team the 
successful candidate will need to be a self starter and comfortable working 
independently from colleagues but closely with customers.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Support use of EDA software in high speed digital/signal integrity design 
flows in the California Bay Area. 
* Conduct training to both customers and other AEs within Agilent. 
* Feedback customer needs to Agilent EEsof R&D to improve products and enhance 
customer experience. 
* Technical account development for new and existing products. 
* Work with Technical Support Engineers when specific on-site customer 
assistance is needed. 

 
Qualifications:  Preferred Qualifications:

* B.S.E.E. with 7+ years experience in the design, development and test of 
High-Speed Digital circuits. Higher degree a plus but not required.
* Experience in Signal Integrity, Power Integrity, and EMI analysis
* Working knowledge of IBIS and IBIS-AMI modeling and standards
* Working knowledge of RF/uW systems, including channel modeling and RF 
impairments
* Working knowledge of IBIS and IBIS-AMI modeling and standards
* Experience with EM simulation tools and knowledge of underline analysis 
techniques
* Experience with multiple design flows
* Must work well in team environment 
* Must be self motivated
* Excellent communication skills * Successful Candidate will reside in 
California Bay Area. In addition to Bay Area requirement, some travel will be 
required, 10%.

Desirable Skills:
* Knowledgeable of parallel interface designs/measurements such as DDR2/3, LPDDR
* Working knowledge of at least one serial interfaces such as PCIe, USB3, SAS, 
SATA etc.
* Working knowledge of implementation methodologies for embedded DSP
* High Speed package design and board designs experience will be a plus 
* High proficiency in fixed-point C programming for embedded DSP targeting
Hardware design and debug knowledge for communications systems.
* Experience with Agilent EEsof EDA tools: ADS, Momentum, etc.
* Direct experience as a fielded Applications Engineer with customer facing 
background
* Working knowledge of VNA, DCA, Real time oscilloscope
* Knowledge of one of EDA tools such as Cadence, Mentor, HSPICE, Ansys, Sigrity
