Hello Trilok, In my point of view for return current it is not interesting which layer = is named GND or VCC. The nearest transmission line or nearest plane will = act as return path. That means in your case layer4 as well as layer6 can use = both VCC layer (depends on the distance) as return path. Hope this helps.
