Hello Trilok,
In my point of view for return current it is not interesting which layer =
is
named GND or VCC. The nearest transmission line or nearest plane will =
act as
return path. That means in your case layer4 as well as layer6 can use =
both
VCC layer (depends on the distance) as return path.

I have a question.If we have stacking sequence given below.Return path =
can
be VCC plane (provided it's not broken) or Gnd plane.

TOP=20
GND1=20
LAYER3
LAYER4=20
VCC
LAYER6=20
GND2
BOT
=20
If Layer 3 takes GND1 as return path, What will be return path for Layer =
4 &
Layer 6. Why?=20
Can anyone explain the theory / mechanism.
