Hi Lee, I use the CST field solver very often, and still prefer it over other tools. I recently tested the CST PCB Studio for simulationg high speed interconnect, and even though it failed to get the trace characteristics right for speeds exceding >2GHz, I found that it is quite handy and accurate for Power intergity analysis. You should get yourself a test license for PCB Studio (and EDA import) to find out more. Using the CST MWS for low speed calculations is extremely time consuming, you better use CST EMS for those cases (is also 3D, but optimised for low speed events). Please note that each tool (PCB Studio, EM Studio, MW Studio, EDA Import...) requires its own license.
