ANSYS is seeking a Signal Integrity Product Manager that focuses on driving the ANSYS signal integrity portfolio. This position is highly visible and focuses on delivering a ?solution-based? approach that combines integrated circuits, systems, and electromagnetics to solve complex challenges in high performance electronics. With the recently acquired Apache Design Solutions, ANSYS is positioned to be the standard for integrated chip, package, and system simulation. The Signal Integrity Product Manager has a unique opportunity to work with the ANSYS team to guide the platform architecture and capabilities. The position requires working closely with the customers, engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer requirements are met. The position also requires a strong presence at electronics industry events as a key advocate for the ANSYS solution and vision. The Signal Integrity Product Manager will cover all products in the ANSYS Electronics Business Unit (EBU) portfolio including DesignerSI, SIwave, HFSS, Q3D Extractor, TPA, and AnsoftLinks. The Signal Integrity Product Manager reports to and works in partnership with Dr. Steven Pytel, Lead Product Manager for Signal Integrity. ANSYS is accepting applicants to report in the ANSYS San Jose, CA office (preferred) or Irvine, CA office. *Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities:* - Work closely with customers, ANSYS development, and engineering to chart the direction of the signal integrity portfolio for chip, package, and system simulation. - Produce technical white papers, application notes, conference/journal proceedings, product positioning presentations, and webinars. - Work within the industry to develop an SI model library for ANSYS customers. - Develop design kits targeted at industry standards such as DDR3, HDMI, USB3, ? - Function as a specialist/expert during customer visits and technical events. - Provide quality assurance testing on new product features and design flows. - Work with customers to solve the toughest and highest value challenges in the engineering industry. - Drive the industry to further adopt an integrated solution for chip, package, and system simulation using ANSYS products. *Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:* - A minimum BS degree in electrical engineering; an advanced engineering degree is a strongly preferred. - At least five years experience with a thorough knowledge of electronic design, engineering simulation tools, and signal or power integrity design experience. - Design experience in high-speed serial channels, memory interfaces, electronic package design, and high-performance printed circuit boards. *Non-Negotiable Hiring Criteria:* - Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential. - Ability to travel around 20% of the time Please go to http://tbe.taleo.net/NA5/ats/careers/requisition.jsp?org=ANSYS&cws=1&rid12 to submit your application.
