Ravinder, There is no such thing as IBIS v5.2, the latest version of the IBIS specification is v5.1. The question about mixing 32 and 64-bit AMI models is not an IBIS specification topic. This is an EDA tool implementation question. Depending on how the EDA tool instantiates and executes the AMI DLL-s you may or may not have this limitation or requirement. The latest version of our tool, HyperLynx can simulate with any combination of AMI DLL-s. Thanks, Arpad ================================================================== -----Original Message----- From: si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:si-list-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ravinder.Ajmani@xxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, August 08, 2013 10:47 AM To: si-list@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [SI-LIST] AMI-IBIS Simulation HI Experts, My question pertains to AMI-IBIS simulation. Is it possible for simulation to fail because Tx model dll file is for 32-bit, whereas Rx model dll file is for 64-bit (the two models are from different vendors). The simulation is being run on a 64-bit machine. I was told that IBIS ver. 5.2 mandates use of similar dll files for both Tx and Rx models. I checked the IBIS site and I could only find IBIS ver. 5.1. Thanks for your help. .
